Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a safe and effective patient centered hands on therapy which works in combination with your bodies own innate healing mechanisms to help restore balance and optimal health.
It is guided by four main principles:
The body is a unit
Osteopathic Practitioners respect the contribution of mind, body and spirit to health.
Structure & function
are interrelated
The anatomical structure of the body influences its physiological function, and vice versa.
The body possesses self-regulatory & self-healing mechanisms
Given the right conditions, the body has an inherent ability to restore health.
The rule of the artery
is supreme
Optimal circulation is essential for tissue health and the body’s ability to heal.
